Today Mario and some friends from Shreveport came to visit. We again tried to start the day at the Jetties and again it was very crowded so again we moved north and put 13 nice flounder in the cooler. But these guys wanted some trout and the wind was low so we made a run to some near rigs and thanks to Mario’s persistant probing we found some nice 2# trout and had a ball filling the cooler untill a big storm chased us back inside the Jetties & off the water. But these guys were great to fish with and lik Arnold they promised They’d Be Back!

I had a great day of fishing with Kal, Bob, and Blake who made the trip over from Houston to try some Big Lake action. We started at the Jetties but it was slow and very crowded so we moved north to an area that has been holding fish. For the next 4 Hours the action was steady to busy and we put 32 nice Flounder and 14 trout in the cooler all on Berkley Gulp.

Went scouting to get ready for my weekend trips and found Hungry Trout along the Cameron Jetties. I caught 15 quick 2#ers and kept 3 for dinner. Live shad and Berkley Gulp were on the menu for the Fish.
