January 3, 2010 Off to The Houston Boat Show, Jan. 8 to 15 at Reliant Center!!! Booth # 604 is where I’ll be untill the 15th. The weather has made Speckeled Trout fishing for numbers of fish a real challange. Water temps are a between 47* & 52* and there is still some good action for Redfish but we have a big coldfront comming with temps in the 20’s by midweek and will really slow the trout bite even more. A few big fish have been caught on suspending corky or catch 2000 type baits work painstakingly SLOW! Come visit me at the boat and let’s plan a great Lake Calcassieu trip for 2010. Happy Newyear!
