BBQ Fish!

A classic New Orleans favorite is BBQ shrimp. Well I was craving this tasty dish except I didn’t have any shrimp. As always I have fish, so I thought why not BBQ fish. Man I’m glad I did! Oowwie it was good! So I though I should share the recipe.

Ingredients :

1 1/2 sticks of butter

1/4 olive oil

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

6 cloves of garlic minced

2 bay leaves

1 table spoon Creole seasoning

1 table spoon oregano

2 teaspoons paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 green onions sliced

1 lemon sliced

1/2 lemon juiced

2 lbs. of Speckled trout or Redfish filets  and French bread

Cook:

Preheat oven to 350

Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan (not fish and bread) on medium heat until combined and warn. Salt to taste.

Lay filets in a 9X13 baking dish

pour mixture over fish and bake for 15-20 min

Serve with French bread.
