Fishing Tom’s Guide Service

COVID -19 We are here for you!

Fishing Tom’s Guide service is deeply concerned about those affected by the Coronavirus. Whether directly or indirectly. We want you to do what is best for you and your family.

In saying that, fishing is the safest activity during these uncertain times. even with “stay at home orders” put in place by many areas. Fishing is still an acceptable activity. This is even declared by the governor of Louisiana.

Charter Guides Exempt from Gov. Edwards’ Stay-At-Home Order

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards recently announced a statewide stay-at home order, which will begin at 5 p.m. tomorrow.

According to the Governor’s Chief-of-Staff Mark Cooper, charter guides may continue operating as long as there are 10 or fewer individuals on your vessel, something that is not a concern for the vast majority of you. You are allowed to keep working because charter guides fit within the description of “Maritime Transportation Workers,” according to the CISA Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers Guidelines.

Click here for complete details of the Governor’s order, and if you chose to continue operating, please follow all necessary safety precautions.

We will continue to provide our services.

We wish you all safety and health.

Sincerely,

Captain Tommy
