Despite the Full Moon, And strong winds these guys from Shreveport managed a nice mixed bag of Trout, Reds, Big Flounder and Sheephead. Live shrimp and DOA’s under a Cajun Thunder Cork did the trick. The North End of Lake Calcasieu was Pretty Clear but with these North East Winds the south end was chocolate milk. I still have a few open dates the next few weeks so call 318-675-9114 to get in on some great fall rodbending action

The Kids headed home but mom and dad styed an extra day to have some fun of their own. It started a little slow but before long 2& 3# TROUTÂ were flying in the boat with one 4#er for good measure. Great Job !

Ronnie C. and wife Kathy and their son and his girlfriend made the 4 hour drive from Tyler Tx. to enjoy some Big Lake action. The wind tried it’s best to blow us off the lake Sunday , But by working the east bank and working the marsh they kept me busy on the net and managed a grand slam of Trout, Reds, and Flounder.

It seemed Like the fish were biting on every stop Saturday. The birds were pointing the way and the fish were taking DOA’s under a cork. This was Ray’s 2nd trip to fish with me on Big Lake and were both looking forward to #3. Great Job Ray!

The Crew kept me busy on the net most of the day but the only fish I caught was a good one. On Berkley Gulp 3″ Natural I caught this 6#er. She’s at the taxidermist and should be ready by Christmas.
