All my customers and everyone on Lake Calcasieu know how much I like Sheepshead. They are so fun to catch and great to eat. In Louisiana there is no size nor any number limit on sheepshead. Most guides on Lake Calcasieu consider sheepshead a trash fish, but not me. During certain times of the year, I actually target sheepshead. I’ve been called the Shephard of Lake Calcasieu because I keep the sheep.

Just to chance things up a little, we ventured off to waters with a little less salinity. We found a pot of green gold. The Bass were everywhere and hungry. We boxed a 5-man limit of Bass. Nonstop action!
