May 13,2007 Alex E. & Friends Limit on Big Lake Bronze Beauties & More!!! On their first trip to Louisiana these guys took home the bronze! The Redfish were on fire eating  live shrimp and even some topwaters filling  the cooler with a nice Redfish limit plus several 3 # Trout and some Nice Flounder to make for a Slam of a Day on Lake Calcasieu

May 8,2011 Rick H & Friends Catch the 2 & 3 lb. Calcasieu Beauties!!! It was their first trip fishing for Specks & Reds but won’t be their last. These guys caught on fast and had nice trout and reds eating their live shrimp and filling the cooler with Big Lake Bruts!

May 7, 2011 Rico F. and Fishing Friends Have a Big Lake Blast!!! The day started slow with a very low tide and pretty strong winds but as the day progressed the tide picked up and the bite was on. Rico led the way with several nice trout including a 22 inch 4 lb Lake Calcasieu beauty!  About noon the reds turned on and were eating up our live shrimp and we had to leave em biting!!!!

May 5, 2011 Houston Firefighters Hear Lake Calcasieu is on Fire and Check it Out!!! Ramey N. and a group of fellow firefighters and their friends fill the cooler with some of Big Lakes best Specks and Reds. Hard as they tried they couldnot put out the Flames! But said they’d be back next year to try again!!!
