September 24, 2010 Micheal J. & Friends Have a Great Day on Big Lake with Captain Tom!!! Live Shrimp was the key to some nice trout early in the day but as the day progressed the wind calmed and the birds started showing us where the scools of trout were. Big Shrimp under a cork was the key to catching some Nice 5# Reds!!!!!

September 19, 2010 Jacob & Mark Come from Houston For A Big Lake Slam!!!! Live Shrimp and Berkley New Penny Gulp Shrimp Caught this nice 28 ” Golden Beauty for Jacob, and a couple of 23 “  3 pound trout for Mark on his first Saltwater Trip Ever. He’s hooked for sure!!! And this was only a  4 hour  1/2 day trip!!!

September 18, 2010 Stanley H. & Friends Pat & Jim travel from New Orleans to Catch a Big Lake Bunch!!! Live Shrimp and Berkley Gulp worked well to fill the cooler inspight of 20 MPH winds and very high slow-moving tides. Pat & Jim fish Lake Pontchatrain a bunch and said Lake Calcasieu was just as good if not a little better and worth the 4 hour drive over!

September 17, 2010 The Captain Goes Scouting and Limits on Nice Trout and Big Reds By 9 AM!!!  Berkley Gulp White Swimming Mullet under a cork and Live Shrimp were the key to constant action on Big Lake today. September 13, 2010 Robby, Mark, & Jerry from Memphis Tn said it was well worth the 8 hour drive to enjoy the Fall Fishing on Lake Calcasieu!!!! They threw everything but the kitchen sink and the fish were happy to bite it! Spinner baits, rattletraps, topwaters , crankbaits,Gulp and Live shrimp caught fish for these guys today! From the first light of day to 2 pm the bite was pretty steady and these guys were good at filling the cooler.

September 9, 2010 Scott, Tom, & Harry from Memphis Tn. Have a Great 1st Day On Lake Calcasieu!!! The day started with a few nice trout on Berkley Gulp but quickley stalled so a trip to a reef on the south end of Big Lake started things again with several Nice Big Lake Trout on Topwaters. Then Lightning struck as a school of Nice Lake Calcasieu Bronze Beauties started busting on top and it wasn’t long befoer these guys had a Nice Limit of Lake Calcasieu Reds!
