July 15,2010 Earl G of Homer La. And Brother Ray & Grandson Seth have a Great Family Big Lake Outing!!! Earl was down about 6 weeks ago and had such a great time he came back and brought his brother Ray and Ray’s grandson Seth. Earl started the day hot on Gulp but soon Seth and Ray were filling the cooler on Live Shrimp and Earl soon Converted to Shrimp to End the day with a Limit of Reds and a Nice Mess of Lake Calcasieu Trout and Flounder to Boot!!! They are allready booking their October Trip!!!!

July 11, 2010 Nicole B. From Beau Bridge Celebrates her Birthday with Husband & Friends on Lake Calcasieu!!!! Nicole and Tony put the most and biggest fish in the boat. Both also had a Big Lake Slam(Trout, Red, & Flounder) . Tommy and Sherman were the big trout catchers with several over 3 pounds and Nicoles Flounder tipped the scale at 3#’s also. Happy Birthday (29?????) Nicole!!!!

July 9, 2010 O.T. & Sons Phillip, Samuel, and John have a great Family Adventure on Big Lake!!! Samuel caught the Biggest fish of the day a nice 7# Red , but everyone had fun catching nice trout and reds on live shrimp under a cork!

July 5, 2010 Ken & Maryanne  H. Catch a Nice Mixed Cooler on Big Lake!!! Live Shrimp under a cork was the key to catching these Lake Calcasieu Beauties. We also caught about 50 15 to 15and 7/8 inch Reds. In a few months the lake should be full of legal size reds.

 Catches Saltwater Fever for The First Time on Lake Calcasieu!!! He’s been a Freshwater Guide for 36 years but today with Friend Tommy A. he caught his first flounder and redfish. It was quite a mixed bag with 2 slams of trout ,redfish, and flounder and a great day for his first Big Lake Saltwater adventure with Captain Tom.

June 27,2010 David L. , Son Micheal, & Grandsons Loch and Walter have a great Family Outing on Lake Calcasieu!!! The day started with a bang along the Big Lake ship channel with live shrimp putting a dozen nice trout and a 2# red in the cooler. Gulp also put a few good ones onboard. Walter had big trout at 23″ about 3 pounds and Loch had big red at 20 inches. We headed to the marsh and put 5 more 2 pound trout and another 2 pound red to finish a great family trip!
