June 7, 2010 Dan B. & Friends Lake Calcasieu Day 2 !!!! It was a better start than yesterday with 8 at the first stop but the tide was a trickle all mornig and made for a slower bite and a lot of moving. It was after lunch before the tide finally got rolling and Dan started the fireworks with a 31 inch Lake Calcasieu Monster!!!! Then Gulp and Live shrimp saved the day!!!

June 6, 2010 Dan B. & Friends Jim,Gus, and, Jack See Big Lake at It’s Best!!!! The day started a little slow but once the tide started moving it was doubles and bites every cast for over an hour. Berkley Gulp Pearl White Swimming Mullet on a jig. When the bite slowed we made a move to a reef that was holding lot’s of reds and the fun was on again with a 4 pound trout and steady action on some of Lake Calcasieu’s Bronze Beauties!!!!

June 1, 2010 Casey C. & Friend Dean Start Summer on Big Lake With Big Trout Fireworks!!!! Gulp on a jig was the key to 32 Nice ( Mostly 2 to 3# Trout) They had me working a sweat on the  net!!! Casey Liked it so much he’s comming back Thursday & Friday! That’s what I call A Pleased Customer!!!!!!!

May 27, 2010 Cal I. & Friends Catch the Big Girls on Lake Calcasieu!!! Gulp and Live Shrimp were the ticket to a couple of 25’s and some 26 inch reds. A little work and a lot of traveling finally paid off with a nice cooler of Big Beauties!

May 30, 2010 Tab H. and the STS Fishing Team Visit Lake Calcasieu!!! Tab, Elaina , Charles & Beth not only enjoyed fishing on Big Lake but were the first guests of the year to see The Pink Dolphin! Storms and wind made today a bit of a challange but The S. T. S. Fish Team was up to the challange and caught a nice mess of fish. It was a Guys VS Girls kind of day. But once the Ladies got the knack of popping the cork and setting the hook the guys had to scramble to keep up.

May 29, 2010 Mark P., Jessica and son Sterling Have a Blast on Lake Calcasieu with Captain Tom!!!! The very first cast of the day caught a nice 2# trout and it was almost every cast for a couple of hours. Mark had 3 Big Lake beatuies over 3 pounds on Gulp. Sterling had the big red of the day at 28 inches.
