January 14, 2009 George G of Houston Makes his 5th Trip And Bill L makes his second and join Captain Tom in the middle of winter to catch 40 Nice Calcasieu Trout and add 3 Reds abd 3 Nice Flatfish to have an incredible day! The Shrimp are still in the bay despite 52* water temp and the birds are getting so fat they can hardly fly. I haven’t seen it this good since Rita 3 years ago.

January 12,2009 1st Limit of the new Year ! The birds are still pointing the way. I returned from the Houston Boat Show late last night and wanted to sleep in but the fish were calling and how long this can continue? Who knows, we have a big arctic front comming Thursday and may slow things down but there’s still 2 days to go! Gulp White Swimming Mullet under a cork had a limit by 9:30 and had 3 reds and 15 nice Specks!

December 18, 2008 Howard L & Friends Curt, Brad,& Fred Make 6th Trip this Fall!!!!

December 18,2008 Howard L. & Friends Made their 6th trip with Captain Tom since October 2nd and again had a great trip!!! They wanted something a little different and wanted to target Redfish instead of Trout so off to the marsh we went and Using Berkley Gulp Shrimp we spent the day catching a nice 25 fish limit and hooking and loosing that many more. They had such a great time catching 3 to 5 pound reds they are coming back next week for trip 7.

December 16,2008 Trout Still on Fire, Limits at 10AM for Butch M. of Haughton La. Not Wind, Nor Cold, Nor Fog can stop the trout from feeding. It looks like the bite will keep going, & going.
