October 11, 2009 Bill B, of Shreveport, and son Gilbert had to work a bit to catch their limit after a big front yesterday brought 15 to 20MPH winds to Lake Calcasieu. We started the day early catching some nice Reds on 3″ Berkley Gulp New Penny Shrimp and had to cover a lot of water untill we hit the jackpot and filled the cooler with trout using Berkley Gulp Swimming Mullet under a cork. The front dropped the water temp to 72* and the fish are feeling the urge to fatten up for winter.

September 27, 2009 Chuck S. of Natches Miss. and longtime friend Bubba caught fish till their arms were tired. Besides a 30 pound Cobia, some 4 pound Trout, we had pompano , flounder, blackdrum and a dozen 10 to 20 pound redfish that were caught & released! I donate a trip to St. Jude each year and Chucks wife made a donation for the winning ticket. These guys know how to catch some great fish!
