September 17, 2009 Cal I. Makes 3rd Trip with Friend Bruce and Catch The Big Ones! On the FIRST CAST of the day Bruce hooked the 6 lb 1oz BigLake Beauty! Then Cal & Bruce filled the Cooler with lots of 2 to 4 lb Trout. The Best Fishing of the Year has started and will continue through the fall!

August 27, 2009 Stanley H. August 5, 2009 Howard L. of Houston Makes his 8th Trip with Friends Dan & Daniel! The Trout are on Fire and Berkley Gulp Loads the boat again with a nice mess of fish. They had such a great time he’s comming back October 3 to get in on the great fall trout run on Lake Calcasieu!

August 4, 2009Â 3 Generations of Kerrs Visit Big Lake For a Fishing Fiesta! The full moon seams to have driven the Lake Calcasieu Trout Biting Crazy!!!!!!! For this Grandfather, Son, & Grandson Berkley Curlytail Gulp filled the cooler with 60 Nice 2 to 3 Lb trout by 9:30 AM!!!!! What a family trip tp remember.

July 29,2009 Berkley Gulp Brings Captain Tom Another 6# Big Lake Trout!!!! Scouting today on the south end of Big Lake was a challange. Off color water and 15 to 20 MPH winds was the order of the day but after 4 hours of searching my cork disappeared and a strong tug that aI thought was a nice Red but after a few drag pulling runs this 6# beauty came to the top and showed herself. My Guide Partner Steve grabbed the big net and after a quick weighing and a few pics she was back in the water and on her way!!!

July 18. 2009 Manuel D. Brings his Boss Jim and Grandson to Big Lake for a great day on the lake!!! Manuel was a cork popping fool and it paid off with several nice trout on Live Shrimp and Gulp. This was his second trip this year and he says he’ll be back in October for the Great Fall Trout Run!!!!!
