July 18. 2009 Manuel D. Brings his Boss Jim and Grandson to Big Lake for a great day on the lake!!! Manuel was a cork popping fool and it paid off with several nice trout on Live Shrimp and Gulp. This was his second trip this year and he says he’ll be back in October for the Great Fall Trout Run!!!!!

Deep Structure was the key to locating this nice mess of fish and should continue to make for some great summer fishing on Big Lake.

July 9,2009 Parks C. & Wife Gloria (THE FISH CATCHER) Of Shreveport Have a Great Day at Big Lake!!! Gloria’s slow easy technique was just what the fish wanted and she gave her husband Parks a lesson on catching some nice Lake Calcasieu Trout. White Curley Tail Gulp on a 5/16 jig in deep water did the trick!!!!

June 29, 2008 Limits of Specks For Captain Tom & Joann at 10:30 Am! Joann was throwing Live Spicer’s Shrimp under a Cajun Thunder to catch her limit. The Captain stayed with 4″ Pearl White Berkley Swimming Mullet to entice most of his limit!
