Mike M of Shreveport and his Family thought they were in an Alfred Hitchcok Movie there were so many birds. We had 40 trout at 7:30 am and went off to the marsh to try for reds & Flounder. We could only get a couple of nice Flounder and headed back to the birds and put 12 more in the cooler to finish a great family fishing adventure on Lake Calcasieu with Captain Tom!!!

The weather was so nice I went fishing on my day off and I’m glad I did. The birds were working on the south end and by 8Am I had my limit of Specks and one nice sand trout to boot. Then I headed to the marsh and the reds were on fire. I caught 13 and kept 5 nice ones. The fishing will stay good through the end of the year. November 5, 2008 Howard L. of Houston & Friends Dan, & Fred had a great time catching nice specs under the birds on curly tail Gulp. Howard said this was his 3rd successful trip and booked a fourth later this month.

October, 30, 2008Â Dr. Sam B. Made his 3rd trip to Big Lake this year and it was his best. Great weather and a great cooler of Trout ,Reds, & Flounder. Sam was joined by his Friends Steve R. & Chuck D. from Willis Knighton in Shreveport.

October 26, 2008 Brandon E. and friends Kevin & Darryl Start the day with a bang and using gulp curly tails and live shrimp have 60 trout at 11:00 AM.
- Brandon E Said,I have been on a few guided fishing trips in my life, but this was the best by far. Captain Tom put us on fish at daybreak and the fun never stopped! We had very little slow time and we caught more fish than I ever have in a single day. Captain Tom is the best. He’s even patient with a screw-up like me when I tangle the lines up! I will definitely be coming back for another trip – I would highly recommend Captain Tom to all of my friends.
