Kevin G, and Jimmy R. (Policeman from Shreveport) Put the cuffs on 2 nice limits of Specks Today on New Penny Gulp. We had several 3’s and 4’s Great Job Guy!!!! I have some openings on the last week of July. This good bite should continue and even get better.

July 3, 2008 Started the month with a BANG for Bill B. , Gary A. , and Mike M. of Shreveport La. We started the morning a little slow but by 9 AM we hit the right spot and fish were flying in the boat 2 & 3 at a time. These guys had the captain in a sweat, working the net and unhooking fish. We had a mess of 3 & 4# fish to make this second trip for these guys this year a day to remember.

July 2,2008 Matt & Josh from Lafayette started the Fireworks at 5 AM on Lake Calcasieu and caught some nice Big Lake Trout and some Ship Channel Flounder on Berkley Gulp. I Still have a few July openings.

June 29, 2008 Joann (My Better Half) and My Grandsons Tommy & Shawn Spent the morning on the North end of the Lake catching Flounder and Trout on Gulp Shrimp. These guys cast and catch all on their own . (They,ve been fishing since age 3)Â and are allready semi-pros. Great jobs guys.

Billy O.and son Nicholas came down from Shreveport to go saltwater fishing for the first time with Captain Tom. Nicholas said he wanted to catch some Flounder and on his first cast he got his wish. A nice 2 # Flounder on a live shrimp. Billy got the feel for Gulp Shrimp on the bottom and caught some nice Reds, Trout, and Flounder on the New Penny Shrimp. They said this was their first trip to the coast but definitly not their last!

June 20,2008 Chris K. & Friends Got off to a quick start with 9 nice Trout at the first stop at a reef with Curly tail Gulp under a cork. Then it seemed live shrimp took over as the favorite bait to fill the cooler with 31 nice Trout and some nice Flounder.
