March 28,2010 Fred L. , Son in Law Mark, and Grandchildren , Aviana And Alex Catch some Nice Reds!!! This was their second trip to Big Lake with Fishing Tom Guide Service and it started out calm and cool but by 9:00 AM the lake was like a seen from deadliest catch with 2 foot white caps and 30 MPH winds. We were able to find some calmer waters in the marsh away from the main lake and found some nice Reds on finger mullett working points in the marsh. Aviana was working the bait and popping her cork
like a pro after a few lessons from Captain Tom and was rewarded with the big Red for the day at 5#s. Alex was close behind with some nice reds of his own. Great Job Guys!!!!!

March 18, 2010 3 Generations of Kerrs Make their 2nd Trip to Lake Calcasieu!!! We started the day with 20 Mph Winds out of the North and a tide a foot below normal(and that was high tide for the day!) But it started with a bang! On his 3rd cast of the day Mick put a 10# red in the box and we were off to a hopefull start. After 2 hours of throwing Gulp White Swimming Mullet on a 1/4 oz Jig we had 5 good Reds for our effort. Because of extremely muddy conditions on the south end we headed north to find a little cleaner water. It was 1 here 1 there for the rest of the day , Lots of hard work
but all the fish were nice size including a 4# trout.

March 15, 2010 Brian B., Son Walker and friends Robert and Tommy visit Big Lake. Inspight of windy and muddy conditions these guys worked hard to put several nice fish in the cooler. Using Gulp Swimming Mullet under a cork they caught some nice Reds and even managed a nice flounder in tough conditions!
